Clowns

At children’s parties our clowns perform magic, play games and balloon twist, whilst making every child feel special, especially the birthday child.  Our Corporate Clowns balloon twist, juggle and generally entertain at functions, festivals and special events.    

If you have some basic juggling, balloon twisting or creative skills that's great.  If you don't, that’s OK, we are willing to train the right people. At Just Clowning Around we provide you with the latest gear and techniques to ensure a professional performance.

Facepainters

Our facepainters are highly trained to turn little monsters into angels, and
little angels into scary monsters.  We use high quality Grimas Facepaint that is
non-allergenic, fast drying and brightly coloured to ensure that every face
looks its best. Our chief facepainter and trainer regularly updates her skills in the United States, where she has taught and won international facepainting competitions.

If you are a bit arty, have a bubbly personality and like working with
children, this is the job for you.

Our clowns and facepainters need to have lots of energy and an outgoing personality. As the work is mostly weekends, and the pay is great, these positions would suit people wanting extra pocket money on a part-time or casual basis.  Your own transport is essential.

Kids Clubs

If you are over 15, have no formal skills and want to work with children, we have a position for you too.  

Our Kids Club offers organised games and craft at functions in the Canberra area.  No skills are required, just a great personality, self motivation, the ability to work within a team, and of course a love for working with children.

Disco Clowns

Do you just love to dance?  Our disco clowns provide the dance steps for the latest dances, run games and generally entertain your children at discos. As part of a team you work with a DJ and other dancing clowns.  This is such a fun job and will keep you fit at the same
time - so throw away your gym membership and join us.

Jumping Castle Operators

Looking to earn some extra income?  
Are you available for flexible hours on weekends?
Like working with kids but from a distance?

This position requires heavy lifting to set up and pull down jumping castles for children's birthdays. A current drivers licence is essential with at least 2 years experience. 

Shop

Our retail store located at Mawson is a hive of activity for costume hire, balloons and novelties such as wigs, hats, eyemasks and fancy dress accessories.  Customer Service is an area we pride ourselves in. If you have a bubbly personality, enjoy working with the public, think on your feet, and are looking for part-time work, this may be the job for you.
